SCHMACK

Schmack is a jazz band that blends contemporary trends with improvisation and a focus on simplicity. Defying traditional conventions, their music moves between climactic chord structures and melodic energy, a sound captured on their second album "In Love" (2024). Known for the cohesion of their live performances, the band has toured clubs and festivals such as Jazzfestival Saalfelden, Porgy and Bess, and Opus Jazz Club. Their work resulted in nominations for the 2025 Amadeus Austrian Music Awards for Best Sound and the Austrian Jazz Award for Best Live Act, establishing their presence within the European jazz landscape.
